Some expensive private counseling services  are quick to mention their Ivy league heritage or promise they can get you into any highly selective college you choose. We don’t do that. What we do promise is that we’ll help you find whatever education option fits you best. Though public schools do offer support to students, our service is different. We are local, unbiased,  and professional, tailored to meet your needs. No two students need the same degree of assistance, but don’t you owe it to yourself to see if we could help you achieve your goals?


Who is Potential Plus+?

After receiving her Master of Arts in Teaching from Oregon State University in 1993, Kristen Bowman taught language arts and French to students from ages 1 to 65 in private preschools, community colleges, and public middle and high schools. When asked about why she started Potential Plus+, Bowman says, “I saw how overloaded most guidance counselors were. The majority have over 100 students to help with scheduling, graduation requirements, testing, and emotional, behavioral, and academic guidance. I can’t take their place, but I can supplement their work for families and individuals who need help navigating the sea of information on post-secondary training solutions.”
